About Us

How did we get started?

On the first Lord’s Day of January 2010 a few families gathered in the home of church planter Jeff Riddle to form the Christ Reformed Baptist Church plant.  Our vision was to plant the first Reformed Baptist congregation in Central Virginia, fully committed to the Second London Baptist Confession (1689).  We soon moved to meet at the firehouse in North Garden, Virginia.

At Christ Reformed Baptist Church we are committed to expository preaching. This means we are typically going through whole books of the Bible, chapter by chapter, verse by verse, precept by precept. Lord’s Day Worship

What is worship like at CRBC?

The worship at CRBC is God-centered, simple, and reverent. The focus is on the basic Biblical elements of prayer, singing of praise (psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs), Scripture reading, preaching, and the observance of the sacraments or ordinances (Baptism and the Lord’s Supper).
